SonShine Christian Academy was a Christian elementary
school that was operated by the Griffin-Thomaston District Seventh-day Adventist Churches
in cooperation with the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
They accepted students in grades 1-8. They were located south of Zebulon,
off of Highway 19, across from the old Thomaston Mills plant and Sullivan Store.
They saw their mission as developing the student's
physical, mental and spiritual powers in order that she or he would be prepared
for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service
in the world to come.
